The Game Plan: What's To Come Before July

THE GAME PLAN: What's to come for Timeless before July hits

The creators of Timeless have a lot to do on their hands before the summer

It is only February, and there is a mix of feelings as the year of filming Timeless is upon us! Some days it feels like shooting is far away and there is still so much time to get all the things done, and other days it feels like we have no time at all! However, we trust that with the Lord on our side and our amazing team, it will all come together as it should.

Currently, February has been an exciting month of progress. Our GoFundMe is still up and donations have been made in the past two weeks, which is exciting! We still have a long way to go but even with every small contribution, hope rises. We have been especially grateful to our producer Michelle Hoffman for handling literally everything such as fundraising, film festival prerequisites, events, IMDB stuff, regular check-ins with the director, and so much more! She truly has been the foundation for a lot we've accomplished. Our final shooting schedule is coming together down to the very details of the exact times we will be shooting, and our Key PA Ariana Naeimi is to thank for that! She has been so hardworking on top of her regular job and we are so grateful for what she is doing. Ashlyn Cox, our photographer, is busy editing our photos for Timeless's promo shoot and we should have them very soon. When we receive them we plan to release a sneak peek, and a few more will be added to IMDB. From there, Sara Sumlin, our poster artist, will design and hand-paint our film poster in the style of an old 1940s movie poster. We will release that once completed.

The coming months will hold many tedious important things, such as gathering props for the shoot, researching, eventually renting our camera to film, and getting to unveil a beautiful handmaid costume that Grace Adams will wear as she plays Marjorie Kent. The costumes for the supporting actors and extras will be due on March 15, with images of the pieces needing to be texted or emailed to director Emma Sumlin for approval.

Jonathan Collins and our gaffer will hopefully be headed out to set soon to figure out every scene's lighting, and Sumlin and Collins will take a day in Springtown to find the exact locations for every scene as well. We also will be looking to rent out the Grapevine Vintage Railroad for a scene and ask for prayers as they seem very hard to contact.

On an extra note, Timeless will be in the running for Best In Fiction at Dallas Baptist University's prestigious literary contest called DOXA. So keep it in your prayers as it would be a huge honor to receive an award for the screenplay!

We have much more ahead, things too many to name, but we are so grateful for all of your support, prayers, and excitement as we continue on this journey! In April, Timeless was just an idea, in September, Timeless was a hope, and now, look how far we've come! God is up to something, and Timeless will be more than anyone's next gig or credit on IMDB. It will be an experience, a family, and a masterpiece that beautifully reflects the gifts God has given to us for His glory!
